Kuyungon has been privileged to host a variety of distinguished visitors, including representatives from leading agencies and organizations, who have shown great interest in our eco-friendly initiatives. Among them was the prominent media company Astro, which featured Kuyungon in the inaugural season of Innovathon, highlighting our pioneering efforts in sustainable living and waste management.
The visit provided a platform for us to showcase our innovative Eco Tamu Concept and our commitment to creating a green village. Furthermore, our social labs have attracted numerous visitors eager to learn about our practical approaches to sustainability, including hands-on workshops and community-driven projects. These visits have not only validated our efforts but also inspired us to continue leading by example in promoting eco-conscious practices in our community and beyond.
Now Social Lab has received tourists from various countries such as Singapore, Italy, Poland, Thailand, Korea, USA, Belgium
The Social Lab at Kuyungon has seen significant expansion and now boasts 10 greenhouses, each measuring 20 feet by 50 feet, dedicated to fostering sustainable agricultural practices and eco-friendly living. These greenhouses serve as a vibrant hub for various activities, including hands-on workshops on organic farming, composting, and innovative waste management techniques. The controlled environment within these greenhouses allows for the cultivation of a wide variety of crops, demonstrating the potential for year-round, sustainable food production. Additionally, the Social Lab provides a unique space for community engagement and education, where residents and visitors can learn about sustainable living practices and witness the tangible benefits of eco-friendly agriculture. Our community has taken a proactive step in promoting local sustainability and self-sufficiency by opening a dedicated booth where we sell our homegrown and handcrafted products.
